lunch break stories: GOMA food service

Up since 5.30, only a banana and java for breakfast when driving straight to work from Ongwediva – quite a bit hungry. What’s gonna be for lunch in a few? Most likely a small restaurant called ‘GOMA food service’ which is hidden behind the Open Market and just five minutes from the Ministry on food. Although the variety is limited as elsewhere in town – the quality is definitely the best you can get. On the menu: rice, pasta, cabbage, pumpkin, carrots&peas, meat and sausage – at the end of the month (payday!) they also have nice specials like meatballs and salad. You pay per spoon, each 5$ – so for 15$ you are full and ready for a nap back in in the office.

  1. nice table cover on page 4!

  2. I guess the meatballs are not (IKEA like) swedish? ! 🙂
